Diana Yoshida
Diana Yoshida began Judo in 1993 and began her competitive career in Chicago with Tohkon Judo Academy in 1995. Diana was a national elite athlete for USA Judo for over 12 years. Diana competed and won at the national level in junior, high school, collegiate, and senior elite tournaments. Diana is a former Collegiate National Champion and two-time bronze medalist at the U.S. Senior National Championships. She has extensive competitive experience in the sport of Judo representing the United States in Europe and Japan and competed at the Olympic Trials in 2008. Along with competing in Judo, Diana has been coaching judo for over 15 years and has helped many kids and adults excel in competitive sports at the national level.
Diana has her degree in Early Child Development and worked for the Plano Independent School District as a Special Education paraprofessional for 11 years. Diana currently works for two churches in the north Dallas area serving as a preschool teacher and as a teacher in her special needs ministry.
